Dennis Claridge was the starting Quarterback for Bob Devaney’s first season in Lincoln and on Game Day November 3, 1962. Bill “Thunder” Thornton was Nebraska’s starting running back and co-captain of the 1962 Husker team. This team also went on to win NEBRASKA’S FIRST BOWL GAME! These two players have agreed to sign 262 copies and offer them for sale exclusively through HuskerPedia.
